About Tarik
I am a university student studying mechanical engineering. I have tutored privately and have experience teaching maths and further maths in classrooms up to A-level. I teach students how to use mathematics to observe, analyse and predict the world around them, I show them that maths is a language that is used to read the universe rather than a boring subject at school.

My lessons will consist of a brief lecture which concerns a physical, real-world problem. Together with the students, we will dissect the real-world phenomenon under study and at the same time teach the theory required to solve the problem. This way they understand why they are learning what they're learning and will naturally be able to apply their theory to many other things much more fluently. After the lecture, there will be handcrafted application questions and some technique questions. I aim to constantly learn and change/improve my methodology.
