About David
I am currently going though the process to become a full time Middle School Math Teacher. I have been working for the past 3 years as a Substitute Teacher and Para-Professional in many schools across NJ. I've taught in Trenton, Teaneck, Hackensack, Saddle Brook, Fairlawn, etc. at every grade level up to 12th. I have a BA in Philosophy from William Patterson University and 16 Math Credits working toward another degree.

Having been substitute covering for other teacher's classes, I've made sure to keep a simple and effective teaching strategy. I explain the rules, I demonstrate them in practice, and then I have the students attempt solving problems on their own. From that I can figure out where the student is weak and repeat the process focusing on that weakness. Math is a skill, mastery is obtained through practice and repetition.
