About David
I first started tutoring as a senior in high school. A family friend’s 8-year-old son was in need of academic help. He was scoring in the 20th percentile for math on standardized tests. As an autistic child, regular teaching methods didn’t work for him. I decided to approach the tutoring as if it was just he and I hanging out, playing games and building with blocks. I incorporated math into our conversations and imaginative playtime in order to give him a visual, non-intimidating way to absorb information. After 6 months of tutoring, he scored in the 80th percentile. Point is—I care about my students, and I will go above and beyond to help them succeed.

Hi! I’m David. I can teach you pretty much every subject that falls under the umbrella of mathematics & help prep you for upcoming ACTs, SATs, etc. I work with kids of all ages (6-16+) and I have a genuine love for helping others achieve their educational goals. I’m not a strict older teacher, just a math nerd in his mid twenties who is here to help you! :)
