About Matthew
I aim to improve students confidence in their subject. Firstly I establish what the student knows so that we can identify any gaps in their knowledge or areas that they do not fully understand. I review with them the information that their school have provided them with to ensure that my tutoring supports their school work. After that I set questions for the student so that they can practice the techniques and we can discuss what is working and where further work is required. By reviewing what went wrong we can work on how they can avoid it in the future. ! am, however, flexible in my approach to suit the students learning style. Typical lesson duration is 30min or 1hr (this can be discussed to suit). Lessons can be arranged from any age: 4 - GCSE. I have achieved an 8 in Maths at GCSE and an A at A level

I want to help my student be confident. Normally learning processes then doing questions and practicing and every time there's something wrong we look at what went wrong, we address it and we try again. But it depends on how the students works best as lessons can always be adjusted. Lesson times are entirely negotiable but normally 30min - 1hr. Lessons can be arranged from any ages 2 - 15, other ages can be discussed. I have an 8 at GCSE and an A at A level in Mathematics
