About Jai
My name is Jai, and I am a 21-year-old Mechanical Engineer living in Bristol currently on an Industrial Placement in the Nuclear sector. I am pursuing a degree in Physics with Astrophysics at university, where my fascination with the mysteries of the universe has deeply shaped my academic journey. I believe that education thrives in a conversational and collaborative environment. Rather than adhering to rigid teaching methods, I aim to foster a supportive and engaging atmosphere that encourages students to excel. I am passionate about redefining the teaching experience, emphasising the importance of mutual respect and genuine curiosity in the learning process.

I personally feel the best approach to learning maths and science is by answering questions repeatedly until it sets in, with simplified explanations along the way to cement knowledge. In the past I have helped teach family members how to approach questions, and even acted as a "Maths Helper" when in Sixth Form to help those studying for their GCSEs. I would aim the lessons to be primarily for those studying for GCSEs, but would be happy to assist where possible in A-Level Maths too.
