About Nethra
I am a Mathematics and Chemistry major at The University of Sydney (100% scholarship). As a highschool student I've always been interested in the underlying logic of what I was being taught; the "why" mattered more than the "how". This mindset translated to immense academic success. I've aced my final exams, national and international olympiads, and even early scientific research through this mentality. Through teaching, I aim to bring this strategy to you the student. In my lessons, you gain a deep intuition for every concept instead of just learning the procedural steps, giving you a natural edge when solving challenging HSC problems.

I conduct 2 hour HSC Mathematics lessons covering all levels from Mathematics Standard to Extension 1 for Year 11-12.
My qualifications:
• Achieved world's highest A-Level Chemistry mark (Pearson Edexcel exam board)
• Hold a fully-funded scholarship to study at USyd
• Achieved a 99.95 equivalent ATAR (unverified)
I have over 1 year of one-on-one tutoring experience teaching Advanced Level Maths at the high school level.
I place a large focus on building deep mathematical intuition and visualization that gives students a natural understanding of tricky HSC problems. After covering syllabus content I build exam specific skills such as time-management and speed reading to fortify a high exam performance.
My background in university level maths allows me to present the connection between textbook theory and practical solutions when necessary to create an intellectually stimulating atmosphere.
