About Liam
I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) and Bachelor of Science at Monash University, working my way towards a Major of Mechatronics Engineering and Major of Astrophysics. Alongside my University career, I am involved in many volunteering operations across Melbourne, having taken an executive role as the social media director at the Rotaract Club of Whitehorse for the year. I'm also a performer in the Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne's Dragon Dance team, participating in events such as Lunar New Year performances in the CBD. These activities have helped me develop the skills to adapt and cater towards a variety of situations, and taught me that you can grow to know anyone as a close friend. I want to share my passion for learning with others and teach you that learning doesn't have to be an exhausting task, but instead something you can look forward to doing. Let's beat the system and get you the score you're dreaming of.

I tutor all years 7-10 in Science, Math, English and Humanities as well as Year 11 VCE Physics, Year 11/12 VCE Chemistry, Year 11/12 Mathematical Methods, and Year 11/12 VCE Further Mathematics. I firmly believe that no matter who you are, it is possible to work hard and excel in things that you once thought you couldn't. My approach to teaching is to help students learn and understand topics in a way that is comprehensive and also engaging for you. Throughout high school, I never thought of myself as an academic person during my junior years. However, with the help of teachers and peers alike who took the time to understand me as a person and what engaged me, I was able to push past my limits. It is my wish to continue to help those who struggle much like I did and give them the chance to understand their potential! I have a valid Working With Children's Check and have access to and knowledge of a multitude of quality resources to enhance your learning. Typical lesson lengths are an hour, however I'm happy to accommodate longer lesson times as well if possible. I also have prior experience tutoring VCE students, and hope to help you achieve a score that you're happy with. I tutor across the Eastern suburbs and would prefer to meet at public libraries such as Doncaster Library, Bulleen Library or Ivanhoe Library for our sessions, however I understand not everyone can accommodate this and so I will do my best to fulfill your needs.
