About Namira
Being “smart” is overrated. The most important thing to do as a student is to be confident that you can do anything you put your mind to. Being “smart” is not limited to anyone, sometimes extra support from someone like me is all you need :). As an engineering student, I know what it’s like to have to work hard in school. It’s a completely normal experience to struggle and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with needing extra help. I did pretty well in school growing up, and used to tutor younger grades while in high school. I have the patience, compassion, and open-mindedness to deal with different students and learning types. I truly wish I could help you be the best student you can be, and unlock your potential to the fullest.

Learning does not have to be lonely or boring! I would love to help with your k-12 classes in any way you need :). Some people learn in different ways, and I would love to explore different methods of teaching to help you become the best student you can! My lessons would begin with asking you to reflect on what it is that you’ve learned recently. We would then sort your material by what you’re confident on, what you’re iffy with, and what you really need help with. I will then actively go through your material with you, and break it down step by step, while giving you examples, tips, and writing you study notes as well. Throughout the lesson, I will ask you for feedback on what method helps you to understand better, whether it’s examples, drawings, speaking, or reading. Near the end of the lesson, I will ask you a few questions to see what you have learned, and make note of what we could spend some more time on, and what your best improvements were.

Perfect! We’ve had a wonderful experience with our tutor. She is patient, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping my daughter succeed. What I appreciate most is the time she takes to ensure my daughter fully understands each unit they work on. She never rushes the lessons and always explains concepts in a clear, encouraging way that builds confidence.
Perfect! I had a great first tutoring session with Namira! Even in just one session, she helped me understand my Grade 12 Chemistry concepts so much more clearly.
