About Emily
Hi I’m Emily and I’m an Australian teacher who has worked in London for the past 18 months. I spent my first 6 months in London working in a range of different schools and now I’ve spent the last year working with Year 6 in a school in East London. Overall I have almost 4 years teaching experience, this includes working towards academic milestones for Year 6 SATS and also 1 year of experience working with children with special educational needs.

My students describe my teaching style as ‘fun but fair’ which I think is very accurate as I value enjoyment in learning balanced with challenging the students and allowing them to improve themselves and reach their goals. My favourite thing about teaching is watching confidence grow in students when they understand a concept.
