About Coleen
I have experience working with school-aged students both in school and community settings. Through my education and work experience, I am able to meet individuals with special needs where they're at and empower them to be themselves. I don't mold my students in a certain way. Instead, I teach them the tools to make healthy choices and develop independence.

I take the time to get to know the students and build a connection with them. I always have a schedule of our time together - depending on the needs of the student, I use different formats of scheduling (i.e. to-do list, visual schedule, timer). I create a space to allow students to grow and succeed in their own way.
