I first get to know the student and like to learn and get comfortable with each other , I then learn their learning style because that is important to know. We talk about why they are struggling in the subject and what they aren't comprehending and I teach them and ask if they have questions and I go over problems with them and have them do a problem alone and then we talk about what they did good and where they messed up and I will also include steps so they can remember how to do it and go over homework
