About Molly

I’m a final-year International Relations student at the University of Liverpool, currently working at First-Class level. My degree has given me a strong grounding in politics, human rights, international affairs, history and essay-based subjects, but I also genuinely enjoy helping other people understand ideas that initially feel confusing or overwhelming.

Outside university, I was President of the University of Liverpool Amnesty International Society, where I helped organise campaigns, events and discussions around human rights. I have also delivered workshops for young people on climate change, activism and global issues. These experiences have made me confident explaining complicated topics clearly, encouraging discussion and adapting how I communicate depending on the person in front of me.

I want to tutor because I know that subjects such as Religious Studies, Politics and History can become much more interesting once the arguments start to make sense. I particularly enjoy helping students develop their own ideas, improve their confidence and turn their knowledge into a clear, well-structured answer.

I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I would never want a student to feel embarrassed about asking a question or needing something explained differently. My aim is to make lessons useful, relaxed and centred around what each student actually needs.

My lessons are completely shaped around the individual student. Everyone learns differently, so I am happy to adapt the pace, structure and style of each lesson depending on what works best for you. This could include clear explanations, discussion, visual plans, quizzes, essay planning, source analysis or working through practice exam questions together.

Before our first lesson, I will ask what you are studying, your exam board and what you would most like help with. That way, we can focus on what will actually be useful to you, whether that is understanding a difficult topic, improving your essays, building confidence or preparing for an exam. I am also happy to use materials from your school or college.

Lessons will usually last around 60 minutes, although I can be flexible. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and saying when something has not made sense. There is no pressure to understand everything straight away, and I will always try explaining something in a different way until it clicks.

I am a final-year International Relations student at the University of Liverpool, currently achieving marks at First-Class level. I am also a former student society President and have experience leading workshops for young people on human rights, climate change and wider global issues. This has helped me become confident at making complicated topics feel clearer, more interesting and easier to understand.

I offer online support for GCSE and A-level students in Religious Studies, Politics, History and current affairs. I can also help with essay structure, revision, exam technique and connecting topics to wider issues such as ethics, human rights, conflict and international politics.

Whether you already enjoy the subject or feel completely stuck, lessons will be planned around your goals, confidence and preferred way of learning.
