About Marek
Marek is an award-winning musician who has been playing for over 26 years. He has gathered experience in various musical environments, which has allowed him to grow both as a musician and as a tutor. Marek has been a part and co-leader of different music projects in London, such as Jazzphrenia, The Colours, Jason Simpson Project, and BB Collective. These groups have performed at numerous venues across London, including Pizza Express, Charlie Wrights, The Dignity, Olivers, Hipsta Bar, and Jazz Cafe Posk, among others. Additionally, he was a lead guest soloist in Peter Eotvos’ “Total Immersion” event, which had its UK premiere at London’s Barbican Music Hall. Furthermore, Marek is a recognised session musician, known for his work in some of the most prestigious studios around London. His expertise and versatility have made him a sought-after collaborator in the music industry.

I had saxophone lessons with Marek for around four years, starting online during the Covid pandemic. I was initially sceptical about whether online lessons would work, but Marek quickly proved me wrong.
He is an excellent teacher, patient, encouraging and highly motivating, with a great ability to adapt lessons to your level while still pushing you to improve. He made the lessons enjoyable and kept me motivated throughout the years.
