About Rikki
Hi, I'm Rikki, a professional illustrator and visual designer with over 8 years of experience.
Over the years, I've created illustrations and visual work for a range of magazines, publications and brands. My work has also received recognition through illustration and art awards, including the 2026 Burwood Art Prize finalist and the Chinese Annual Illustration 2025 Prize.
My personal illustration style is warm, playful and inspired by everyday life. I love drawing the small things around us — little objects, food, people, quiet moments and ordinary experiences — and turning them into illustrations and comics that feel personal, comforting and full of character.
I'm especially happy to work with complete beginners and help you discover the joy of drawing step by step, in your own way and at your own pace.

Complete beginners are very welcome!
We'll start simple and take it step by step, at your own pace.
In my lessons, we draw from everyday life — a cup of coffee, a plant, food, little objects around us, a quiet corner of your home, or a small moment from your day. Ordinary things can become lovely little illustrations and stories.
Drawing doesn't have to be complicated or perfect. I see it as a relaxing and calming creative process — a chance to slow down, notice the little things around you, and enjoy making something with your own hands.
There are no complicated techniques and no pressure to create a “perfect” artwork. Through simple, guided drawing, I’ll help you gradually let go of overthinking and find your own creative flow — that feeling when you become completely absorbed in what you’re making and lose track of time.
There’s no right or wrong, and no pressure to create a perfect artwork. The experience of drawing is just as important as what you create.
Slow down. Notice. Draw. Find your flow. Think of it as a small creative pause in your week: calm, mindful, playful and almost meditative.
We draw everyday life, little objects and small moments — simply, slowly and with joy.
Lessons are available in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
