About Grayson
At age six, Grayson Wang began a musical journey that would shape his future. He developed a strong pianistic foundation in China before expanding his training to the States during high school. He worked with one of Los Angeles's most renowned piano teachers, Dr. Andrew Park, who helped him advance his craft and allowed him to seize countless performance opportunities and notable awards. He has given solo concerts, performed in masterclasses by famous concert pianists such as John Perry, Fabio Bidini, and Alan Chow, and won the following competitions: First Place 2018 Golden Note USA Young Music Festival Second Place 2018 Golden Note USA Young Music Festival First Place 2023 Grand Concours International Competition Chopin & Liszt Category First Place 2023 Grand Concours International Competition Baroque & Classical Category Third Place VIII Future Stars International Piano Competition 2023. In 2019, Grayson’s hard work and talent led him to study at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music—an internationally recognized school—accompanied by several scholarships. He trained under Dr. Alvin Chow, the chairman of the Oberlin Piano Department, who helped him develop a sensitive and individualized musical style that brought him to pursue a master’s degree in piano performance at the USC Thornton School of Music. He is currently studying with acclaimed Dr. Antoinette Perry under a scholarship from the Thornton School, focusing on performance, pedagogy, and competition.

Ever since I discovered the gift of music, I have been committed to sharing my knowledge and passion with others through teaching. During my professional studies, I earned my Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) qualifications and learned to teach a trusted, well-rounded, and highly effective curriculum that includes keyboard work, music theory, and aural skills to set students up for success. I am fluent in English and Chinese and have worked with students of all ages and skill levels at various music schools in LA. I take pride in providing an enriching learning experience for every student and guiding them to reach their potential!
