About James
Hi! My name is James, and I am an AP student in Vancouver with a strong passion for Biology and science education. I placed 1st in the NBC and earned a Bronze Award in the Canadian Biology Olympiad. I am also involved in computational biology research and have experience mentoring younger students through leadership, music coaching, and community involvement.
I enjoy helping middle school and lower high school students build confidence and improve their understanding of science in a supportive and engaging environment. My goal is to make learning clear, approachable, and less stressful for every student.

Hi! My name is James, and I am a high-achieving AP student in Vancouver with a strong passion for Biology and science. I specialize in helping middle school and lower high school students build confidence and improve their understanding of science concepts in a supportive and engaging environment.
I placed 1st in the NBC and earned a Bronze Award in the Canadian Biology Olympiad. I am also involved in computational biology research and have experience mentoring younger students through leadership roles, youth coaching, and community involvement.
My teaching style is patient, personalized, and focused on making difficult concepts easier to understand. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style and focus on building strong foundations, improving study habits, and helping students feel more confident in class and on tests.
