About Christina
I am a dedicated violinist, performer, and instructor with over 20 years of experience, beginning my musical journey in the 5th grade. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of performing with renowned artists such as Tye Tribbett, Kurt Carr, and Jeffrey Osborne, as well as collaborating with ensembles including the Illharmonic Orchestra, the Nashville Street Band Clan, and the Fisk University Jazz Ensemble.
I earned my musical foundation at Fisk University, where I studied under world-renowned violinist Stefan Petrescu, and I am currently continuing my education at Berklee College of Music, pursuing a degree in Songwriting. My classical training, combined with experience in gospel, jazz, and contemporary styles, allows me to bring versatility and depth to both performance and teaching.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students of all ages discover their potential and develop their own musical voice. I believe music is a gift, and my mission is to inspire, educate, and empower others through violin, whether they are just beginning or preparing for the stage.

My violin lessons are designed to inspire, challenge, and develop each student’s unique musical voice. With over 20 years of playing experience and 15+ years of teaching, I offer personalized instruction for students of all ages and skill levels from complete beginners to advanced players. Lessons focus on building a strong technical foundation, ear training, music theory, and expressive performance skills, while also allowing room for creativity and the styles you love, including classical, gospel, jazz, and contemporary music. As a current Berklee College of Music songwriting student and experienced performer, I bring real-world insight into every session, helping students grow not only as musicians but as confident performers. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can develop discipline, passion, and a lifelong love for music.
