About Dhea Pratama Novian
I hold a bachelor degree in Geophysics Engineering and a master degree in Geomatics Engineering. Right now, I pursue my PhD in Applied Mathematics.
I have several relevant experiences in geography and geoscience subjects, both as tutor and professional. As an engineer scientist, I always preserve the curiosity about knowledge to be unbound. I believe everything is connected, and each knowledge is worth learning.

As an engineer scientist, I always preserve the curiosity about knowledge to be unbound. I believe everything is connected, and each knowledge is worth learning. My teaching philosophy is inspired by junior engineer apprenticeship, where we put ourselves as an experienced senior engineer needing to make sure our junior gets enough knowledge and experience, so they not only inherit our skills and knowledge but also open wide their potential.
I have six years in teaching Earth Science Olympiad for High School level and being Lecturer Assistant for wide geoscience subjects at University level in the same time period.
Along my PhD journey at NTU Singapore, I received my first pedagogical certificate as Teaching Assistant, understanding and strengthening my teaching philosophy better.
One student received Silver Medal for National Earth Science Olympiad for High School level and six students going through Province-level Earth Science Olympiad for High School students. Wide connections with 100+ graduated students under my tutorial as Lecture Assistant from my previous university.
I do flexible way to teach, adapting teaching style based on student's progress, and let them explore their own best learning style.
