About Genève
Hi! I'm Genève (Gen), and I am currently getting my Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology. I am fluent in both French and English and I absolutely love teaching and helping others. It's a passion of mine (hence the Psychology degree)! I'm neurodivergent friendly and will never judge you for anything you ask. There is no such thing as a silly question. If you have it, then someone else surely does too! So let's work through it together! This is a safe space!

I take a different approach depending on the student I tutor and their personal needs. If a student is neurodivergent, I pay attention to their specific needs and work according to their pace.
A typical lesson plan also depends on what you bring to me. I can, for example, help you do research for an essay, plan it out, and format it. I cannot write it for you but I can support you in every other way. If you bring me homework, we will go through it at your pace, and make sure you understand each question as well as possible.
If there is a topic in the subjects I tutor that you do not understand, I will take my time to teach it to you in a way that you will understand. We can even create a little format of studying that works for YOU! I know it can be tough, but together we can make anything work! I can help you make flash cards, and make your work easier to understand by breaking it down.
I can work with students from Elementary to High School students in my subjects. I'm happy to help!

Genève is a wise student (and all good teachers have the will to learn), but she is also extremely articulate. In her many presentations outlining niche research into mental disorders that are misunderstood (such as BPD and OCD), she has had a power in her voice that breeds and demonstrates curiosity. Any questions are not only explained, but more importantly worked with. She teaches to help the student learn more than the answer. They learn the process, fostering a growth mindset and indepedent confidence.
