About Harzayn
I've been through high-school myself, and I found that I wasn't able to get a proper understanding of the methods my teachers used. I found that I was teaching myself a lot of the content and lost attention during lessons. So that's why I believe that it's important to have a good teaching technique that's actually going to make students question and be interested in the topic they are learning about. That's why I started tutoring in the first place! I love connecting with teens and seeing them grow and giving them useful study techniques alongside helping them achieve their NCEA results they want!

I have 2 years of tutoring experience with high schoolers, helping them develop their studying skills whilst attaining their NCEA credits! The lessons run for 45 minutes and are primarily for Year 10-12 students - this is the best time for students to develop good study techniques which I incorporate into the way I teach. My teaching methods are a mixture of inquiry-based, student-centred, and project-based. I create quizzes or tasks for them to do outside of the lesson which we then look at in the next lesson - 10 minutes are dedicated at the start of each lesson for this and to reflect on the previous lesson.
