About Star Mae
I'm a Filipina science teacher with six years of experience teaching high school students subjects in the spiral-science curriculum, such as biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, and biochemistry. Not to brag, but I have been awarded outstanding performance ratings by my students because of my commitment to teaching and my dedication to not giving up on students who are slow learners.

I conduct my tutorial classes virtually, with a maximum of 60 minutes per session, on a daily basis from the comfort of our respective homes. I acknowledge that students have different learning strategies, so I first assess which type of learning suits you best and adjust to your pace. I have been teaching for the past six years and also offer one-on-one private lessons for learners who need extra help with difficult subjects. I follow a curriculum-based system in my tutoring and ensure it aligns with the appropriate competencies for the subject I'm teaching. Lastly, I am well-versed in tutoring high school students, but I would also love to teach middle schoolers.
