For example, if you need help with pronunciation, we'll focus on listening exercises and tongue twisters. If you're preparing for exams, I'll tailor lessons to focus on the specific topics and skills required.
- A typical lesson with me is structured, but flexible enough to adapt based on the student's progress and specific needs. Here’s what a typical 60-minute lesson might look like:
Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): I start by reviewing previous material, discussing homework, or engaging in a casual conversation in French. This helps students feel more comfortable and encourages them to speak.
Main Lesson (40-45 minutes)
Wrap-Up and Homework (5-10 minutes): I summarize the lesson’s key takeaways, answer any final questions, and give homework or additional practice material based on the lesson’s content. (Homework is optional for casual learners but strongly encouraged for more serious students.)
