About Stacey
My name is Stacey Harris. I’m a professional teacher and love working with my students. I like to approach learning that is unique to each student. I teach through overlapping of the different subject matters. I believe each student learns differently and they benefit and learn more. I like to be creative in my lessons and fun to learn with. The main goal for my students is success.

I encourage the student to solve problems on their own. It’s very important to me to give them the self-confidence they need to grow and feel confident. I help foster them to be independent in their thinking skills. A typical lesson plan would be a reading assignment with follow-up questions. What did you like the most? Least? How did this story make you feel? What was your favorite part? What does the story mean for you? Help assist them with higher-level thinking and reasoning skills. What sets me apart as a tutor is I have the teaching experience and positive attitude to go with it. I love working with children. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and taught Kindergarten for 14 years. Also was a tutor for second and fourth grade. I find joy in helping students succeed and it’s very rewarding to see them excel.
