About Khaleel
As a student who struggled with math in high school, I know that sometimes it’s just hard!I recognize the importance of some extra resources and practice for those who are struggling. I like to build resilience into my students so they can approach problems confidently! Sometimes math can be a challenge and sometimes it can be really fun!
A passion to help others like me inspired me to graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Mid-Level Math Education (Minor in Science). This helped me to become a math teacher that has the opportunity to impact many students.

In my lessons I like to use the “I do, We do, You do“ method. This method is as simple as its name!
I DO: Demonstrate the steps of the concept effectively, ensuring retention of the student.
WE DO: Highlight and review the key steps, slowly easing the student into tackling the concept alone.
YOU DO: The student independently approaches and completes the concept according to the accurate steps.
After 6 years of teaching grades 7th-12th, I have learned that using the “I do, We do, You Do” method has proved to work the best for many of my students. The core subjects I will cover are Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 (grade levels 7th-10th). In my lessons, I take a visual approaches such as self-demonstration, visual aids, online tools, and (sometimes) fun and catchy videos!
