I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music with a concentration in piano and have over 9 years of teaching experience across diverse age groups and levels. My passion lies in helping students discover the joy of music at their own pace. I’ve worked in private studios and educational settings, always keeping creativity at the heart of instruction. In addition to teaching, I’ve performed solo and as part of ensembles in community concerts and academic showcases. These experiences enrich my teaching by allowing me to offer practical advice on stage presence, interpretation, and artistic delivery. My piano lessons begin by helping students build a strong technical base. We focus on proper hand posture, finger strength, note recognition, and basic rhythm reading. Beginners are introduced to simple pieces early on to reinforce technique and musicality while gradually building confidence through consistent and structured learning. As students grow more comfortable, we explore a broader musical range including scales, chords, and basic music theory. Sight-reading and ear training become regular elements of lessons to enhance independence and fluency. Whether students prefer classical compositions, popular tunes, or improvisation, I tailor material to their interests and goals. Advanced lessons focus on interpretation, expression, and refining technical skills. Students are challenged with complex pieces, analysis, and performance techniques. For those pursuing exams, auditions, or personal mastery, we dive deeper into music theory, dynamics, articulation, and stage preparation.
