About Yuka
I have been dancing since I was four years old, starting with classic ballet, moving on to Jazz, and then tap. I performed in a variety of shows in my home country of Japan throughout childhood and early adulthood, and knew I needed to expand my skills in the United States on my path to becoming a true professional. My credit includes Walt Disney World, CATS Broadway National Tour as Victoria white cat, An American In Paris National Tour, South Pacific as Liat National Tour, I was member of Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company 2017- 2020.
I was a scholarship student at The Alvin Ailey School in New York, where I studied Ballet, and the Graham and Horton techniques.
After graduating from Ailey School in 2017, I have since been asked back as a demonstrator at some Horton classes.

My class will focus on build your muscles memory to use correct muscles and learn technique. I will teach personalized class for each student’s body.
Classes are good for those who wants to build their technique, wants to learn various skills, interested in various Jazz dance styles, wants to learn basic movement, this is the first time taking dance class etc…
