About Thando
I completed my Honors in econometrics at UJ majored in Quantitative Economics (Mathematics), Economics, and Econometrics. I am inspired by seeing students being able to solve problems and progress. I have tutored for 2 years at UJ and I have managed to reduce the burden on students' stress levels and they have managed to do well. My tutoring abilities are more of being able to see if a learner is following or not, I always use examples in every concept so that a learner can be able to understand. I respect time, I prepare before I teach or share my knowledge. I have a very wonderful track record of students coming back to me and say thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

Firstly, one needs to understand the concept and principles of how to deal with any problem that might arise. It is very important to understand the topic and know why are you doing that (e.g. Integral calculus you know that you are dealing with the spread). I explain the topics step by step, and ensure that you leave the room knowing how to solve it by yourself. I am aiming at helping students from grade 10 to University Students in Mathematics and Economics. I teach in English, IsiZulu, IsiXhosa, Sesotho, Tswana, and Tsonga.
