Hi there! I am a second-year Bachelor of Commerce in Business Informatics student with a deep passion for technology and software development. Having achieved an 85% distinction in university-level programming, I have a strong, practical mastery of core Python concepts like loops, variables, data structures, and arithmetic logic.
My own academic journey has taught me that mastering logic isn't about natural talent—it is about persistence, the right guidance, and structured problem-solving. Because I am currently a university student, I remember exactly what it feels like to be a beginner. Having achieved an 85% programming distinction in my first year, I know firsthand that coding is not an innate talent, but a skill developed through patience and structured practice. What makes me unique as a tutor is my ability to break down daunting syntax into simple, relatable concepts, showing students the "why" behind every line of code. I am fully proficient in English and conduct all my lessons in a clear, supportive manner.
I specialise in helping absolute beginners, Grade 10 to 12 school learners, and first-year university students who find themselves overwhelmed by foundational logic.
In a typical 60-minute lesson with me, students can expect a highly interactive and practical session:
• First 10 mins: A quick review of the previous concept or a debugging session on an assignment they are currently stuck on.
• Next 35 mins: Core concept breakdown (e.g., loops, variables, string manipulation) using live, step-by-step code writing.
• Final 15 mins: A fun, mini hands-on coding challenge to test their understanding and build muscle memory before the lesson wraps up.
