About Caitlin
I am a primary teacher so I already have a love of teaching. Facilitating learning and helping my pupils to succeed brings me satisfaction and joy. I have a huge love of reading, and in my spare time you can normally find me listening to music or playing the clarinet/piano. I love nature and animals, particularly cats and dogs!

I am fun, relaxed and patient. Don’t worry about making mistakes, that’s how we learn and I am here to help!
I tutor a range of subjects across the national curriculum, but my specialties are Reading, Writing, Phonics, and Maths. My age range for online tutoring is 7-11. For in person tutoring, I can tutor from 5 years old. I would be happy to consider tutoring a child over the age of 11 if they are working at a primary age level.
I use a range of evidence-based pedagogical approaches in my practice. I have an extensive knowledge on cognitive science, so I understand the process of learning and how I can help to facilitate this effectively. I can predict misconceptions and plan to clarify these proactively.
