About Nastassya
I am a Cybersecurity student at Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai, where I hold a 3.3 GPA and earned a place on the Dean's List. I completed my British A-Levels at Cranleigh School Abu Dhabi in Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics - giving me a thorough understanding of exactly what is expected at that level, both in terms of content and exam technique.
With over a year of tutoring experience across Mathematics and English exam preparation, I bring a structured, student-centered approach to every session. I focus on clarity, building genuine understanding rather than just memorizing answers. Whether a student is working to close a gap before exams or aiming for top marks, I adapt my teaching to their pace and goals.

Mathematics:
Sessions are structured around the student's current syllabus and target areas. I begin each lesson by identifying gaps or weak points, then work through concepts methodically - explanation first, followed by worked examples, and then practice questions at increasing difficulty. I place particular emphasis on exam technique, including how to lay out working clearly and approach unfamiliar questions systematically. Materials and practice questions are provided where needed.
Computer Science:
Lessons are tailored to the student's specific curriculum, whether GCSE or A-Level. I cover both theoretical components - such as data representation, systems architecture, and algorithms - and practical programming elements. Sessions are interactive, with real examples used to make abstract concepts concrete. Students are encouraged to work through problems actively rather than just follow along passively.
Cybersecurity & Networking:
This subject is my core area of study at university, so lessons go beyond textbook definitions. I cover networking fundamentals, security concepts, and practical topics such as protocols, system vulnerabilities, and how real-world attacks and defenses work. Sessions are discussion-based and practical, making them suitable for students who want genuine understanding rather than surface-level familiarity with the topic.
