About Woo-Ri
Hello! I’m a native Korean speaker currently working as a public school teacher in the United States.
I was born and raised in Korea and have spent many years studying and working in education. Through my experience teaching diverse learners in U.S. classrooms, I’ve learned how to explain complex ideas clearly, patiently, and in a way that truly supports language learners.
I understand that learning a new language can feel intimidating—especially when the language system is very different from English. That’s why I focus on creating a safe, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and building confidence step by step.
I also have experience working with children and families, and I bring structure, consistency, and warmth into every lesson. My background as both a teacher and a parent helps me connect naturally with young learners while keeping lessons meaningful and goal-oriented.
