About Quincy
With a BM in Studio Music and Jazz (Guitar Principal) and 7 years of teaching, I focus on bringing the guitar into the world of visual storytelling. I teach Electric, Acoustic, Classical, and Bass Guitar for use in film scoring and video game music. We’ll work on building rich textures, emotional themes, and unique soundscapes. Using DAWs, I help students turn their guitar recordings into full compositions. My lessons are designed around each student’s goals. Young learners might compose music for their favorite game scenes. Adults may focus on professional-level scoring techniques. We study the relationship between sound and visual emotion. Each lesson blends creative freedom with structured learning. I aim to inspire confidence in both playing and composing. Whether your dream is to score a short film or design music for a game, I’m here to guide you. Let’s create music that tells your story.

I teach guitar with an emphasis on variety and adaptability. Students explore styles like funk, metal, country, and jazz, building skills that apply to any genre.
