About Olivia
Hello! My name is Olivia and I am a fourth-year student of Russian language and Linguistics at the university of Edinburgh. I have also lived in Kazakhstan for a year, where I used Russian language in daily life and gained valuable insights.
As a learner of Russian myself, I understand the challenges that beginners face. My lessons are for beginners and are relaxed, encouraging, and tailored to your goals and learning style.
I believe learning a new language should be fun and motivating. Let’s work together to build your confidence and make progress at your own pace!

My lessons focus on helping beginners of any age learn Russian in a relaxed and supportive way. We will cover the alphabet, practice writing, learn useful vocabulary, and use basic grammar.
As a student of Russian, I can support my students through the language’s challenges that I have experienced myself.
I will use my knowledge of learning styles and language acquisition to tailor my lessons towards my students’ needs.
