Teaching Techniques and Methods
I facilitate rather than lecture. Behavioral Science, Psychology and skills aren't subjects you can absorb passively — they need to be practiced, reflected on, and applied in real time. My sessions typically blend:
1. Experiential learning — self-assessment exercises, and real workplace/campus scenarios so learners feel the concept
2. Case-based discussion
3. Reflective journaling and self-inquiry — prompts that get learners to turn the lens on their own patterns, since EI and behavioral change start with self-awareness.
4. Peer interaction — pair and small-group exercises, because emotional intelligence is inherently relational and is best practiced with people, not just studied.
