About Dariia
I have worked as a personal tutor for two years, assisting a student in her 8th and 9th grade curriculum across all subject areas. Throughout these two years, we have managed to raise her grades from Cs to As, with her excelling in Science and Mathematics. My desire to tutor stems from my love for mathematics. I have been passionate about STEM since I was young, which ultimately leads me to my current position: selected for a full-tuition scholarship program to attend University of Wisconsin-Madison. My intended major is Biomedical Engineering with a Pre-Medical track. Throughout my high-school years, I have excelled in every math course I have taken. Apart from receiving 100s in the courses, I have done exceptionally on related exams such as the SAT (750). I am eager to help students love mathematics the same way I do!

I believe that practice is the key to learning. For this reason, my students and I focus on developing specific skills and techniques to solving problems. My students and I start with simple concepts and apply them to challenging problems. Through this method, the student is able to understand the material through complex sequences and apply this knowledge to simpler problems with ease. I am very patient and upbeat, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all my students. My goal is to create a friendly vibe and for my students to see our sessions as guidance rather than harsh dictatorship. While I am a high-school senior myself, I am equipped to tutor middle and high-school students mathematics. With excellent (100) scores, I am proficient in the following subject areas: Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Statistics, and SAT Math.
