About Jennifer
I have 15 years experience part time lecturing and tutoring in Ulster University School of Architecture at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Due to the full-time demands of my architectural practice, I have had to conclude my university teaching for now.
I have conducted hundreds of one-on-one design studio tutorials, and 7 lecture series on design communication, including software lessons - InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Sketchup etc.
I began teaching free-lance in 2021 and have enjoyed working with a number of architecture students and applicants to undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Classes can be arranged in the evenings or at weekends (GMT timezone).

I offer online tutorials on specific studio design projects and portfolio development. With many years' experience in university architectural education, I can offer focused guidance on how to make the best of your ideas and work and how to communicate them effectively. My practice experience can inform other aspects of your projects such as technical, structural, environmental and social.
I offer guidance on personal statements or any written work such as essays or theses. Having completed a PhD, I have an excellent understanding of structure, research methods and writing styles, which I can use to help you communicate your unique work in a way that is impactful and clear.
