About Audrey
Fluent bilingual, I grew up in a multi-lingual environment, both my parents being translators and teachers. In my spare time, I volunteer as an Independent visitor for Barnardo's. I hold the following qualifications: Belgian CESS (A-level) in French literature and Art History, BA (Honours) in English Language (Linguistics) and Religious Studies (Pass 1), PGDE + QTS in French with Spanish. I am currently studying a Master's degree in Education (Teaching and Learning). I hold a valid full DBS check.

Mostly when teaching foreign languages, I advocate practice. Language is a living thing - something we speak and use to describe the world. So to learn a language is to speak in order to understand its mechanism. Another essential thing when we learn is to have fun, and the lessons aim at providing students with an educative and entertaining way of learning French. Everyone has assets and weaknesses so every lesson should be adapted to the student's needs and abilities. Depending on the level one wishes to reach, a quick assessment of the student will help build a plan to reach the goals set. Resources are an essential part of the learning process and I will provide students with plenty of those (majority of which are accessible online for free).
