About Terry
I recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Data Science and Media Studies, but my passion for teaching started long before that. I have been actively tutoring math since I was in high school and continued to help my peers and younger students navigate complex subjects throughout my entire college career. Over the years, I have worked with students of all skill levels, which has taught me how to adapt my teaching methods to fit individual needs. I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and deeply committed to seeing my students succeed. Math doesn't have to be intimidating! With a rigorous degree in Data Science from UC Berkeley, I have spent years navigating high-level mathematics, and my goal is to make it accessible and engaging for high school students. I specialize in tutoring Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and AP Calculus. In our sessions, I prioritize patience, clear communication, and creating a low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I am offering dedicated tutoring from now through the summer to help students catch up, get ahead, or prep for the fall semester before I begin my graduate program! I can also provide free exercises after the session.
