About Riti
Hi! I’m a UC Berkeley student studying Data Science, and I have experience with programming through both my classes and personal projects. I also have experience teaching and working with younger students, so I understand that everyone learns at a different pace. I’m patient, approachable, and want students to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions while they’re learning. I especially enjoy helping beginners realize that coding doesn’t have to be as intimidating as it first seems.

I teach introductory coding for students who are completely new to programming or are just starting out. I like to break concepts down step by step and use simple examples before moving on to practice problems. Students can ask as many questions as they need, and I’m always happy to explain something in a different way. My goal is to help students understand how coding actually works and feel comfortable writing code on their own.
