About Mike
I have been teaching for 21 years, having taught many thousands of students. My students have achieved 100% pass rate for maths at GCSE and A level and many have gone on to study physics at university. In 2004 I won the award for teacher of the year in a secondary school.

I am Dr Mike O'Neill - teacher, author and educational consultant. I am based in the UK and I use engaging and challenging techniques to develop maths and physics knowledge and skills to their potential. I use a methodology of pre-assessment to diagnose prior learning, followed by a variety of techniques to model the techniques needed to solve problems. I focus on proof of learning from students through the use of examination materials that I write to mirror those of the specification being followed by students.
