About Summer
With a Bachelors from Emily Carr University, I have 6 years of experiences in galleries, art museums as well as teaching and designing art history and painting courses.
I have organized and hosted team building activities and art workshops for corporates, including SonyImage Works, KPMG, Lush, 1800-GOT-JUNK, etc with average class size of 25 team members. I have designed classes and workshops for children from various age.
Whether you want to have a private class one on one or in a group setting I have the course designed just for you :)

A sweet and charming beginner class learning the essential techniques of Watercolor/Sketching/Oil Painting. In this class you have the freedom to choose themes and areas you wish to learn and practice, combined with the curriculums I have developed over the years.

Summer is very talented and is great at adapting her class to be right for any skill level. She is so good with teaching both kids and adults. Before my class with summer I was skeptical about an art class over zoom but it was very fun and productive. Would recommend summer to anyone and am looking forward to taking more classes from her!
She’s a great instructor and she breaks complicated techniques into simple steps so I could follow along. I have no painting background but I love her artwork and want to try myself. Summer is always patient with me and shows great passion for painting. Would recommend her if you want to learn to paint or just want a class of making an art&craft gift for your love ones.
