About Tessy
I'm a student, pursuing my degree. I would like to teach bharatanatyam in Kalakshetra style, online. I began my journey in Bharatanatyam from the age of 6 under the guidance of my Guru. I teach to all age groups and can give lessons for all grades or levels. I assure you that you will learn and experience dance with me.

I take individual or group classes, as per the preference of the student. My method includes proper warm up, yoga, and then a short revision of previously taught topic, then the present topic. I also give a bit knowledge about music system used in Bharatanatyam (only for students older than 12 years of age). My Guru taught me in the traditional way, by making me experience dance, rather than making it a subject. And that is the same method Iam using for the past two years of my teaching career. I don't prefer to conduct any written theory examinations for an art form like dance. I have pure knowledge in Bharatanatyam from root, and in carnatic classical music.

I am sure that no other teacher will have so much patience while teaching young kids, on line, says my mom. The way she ensures their attention throughout the class is admirable. We never get bored in her class. I don't even know she had taken 45 minutes class when she signs up. I recommend her to all my friends and relatives too.
Tessy is a young, energetic Bharatanatyam dancer. And as a teacher, she is as energetic as ever. She is always patient with her students, never force her students. She always used to say, everyone should learn and absorb in their own pace. She is a hardworking teacher. One thing I like about her is, she pays individual attention to each student, no matter of age or level of learning.
