About Mr C
Hi! I'm Mr C.
I'm a classroom teacher. I started out, and spent most of my career working in special education, with students who had identified learning difficulties. I've taught grades 7-8-9-10-11 math, high math and CST (Quebec curriculum). I've also worked at the elementary level.
I usually welcome students in my classroom every lunch hour for remediation, even if they are not from my classes. My goal is to make sure all students have a working knowledge of what's being taught, and are able to make connections with the rest of the curriculum.
I also coach (or have coached) various sports (rugby, soccer, basketball, hockey, baseball), and was a professional musician at one point. We can usually find something in common to talk about, and relate the content to!

MrC is here to help you out with your maths. From Grades 6 to 11, we are good to go to get you that little boost you need to get to the level of understanding you're hoping to achieve. We'll work using an interactive whiteboard, and discussing topics. I can prepare a lesson if you identify what you need help with, or we can go over assignments if you struggle to understand what is being asked. I've been teaching for 20 years, and tutoring during all this time. Although in person is often preferable, I've been tutoring online for over a decade, and have grown accustomed to the format.
