Bonjour !
I’m Thomas, a native French speaker from Paris, now based in Sydney. I’m bilingual in French and English, and I enjoy helping adults learn French in a clear, practical and relaxed way.
I know how intimidating it can be to speak a new language, especially when you understand more than you can say. That’s why I focus on building confidence first. My goal is to make lessons feel supportive, useful and adapted to your pace, whether you are a complete beginner or already comfortable with French and want to improve your fluency.
Before teaching French, I spent many years working internationally in tech and video game production, where communication, clarity and adapting to different people were essential. I bring that same approach to my lessons: structured, friendly and focused on real progress.
I can help you with conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and everyday French for travel, work, moving to France, or simply learning for pleasure.
My aim is simple: help you feel more confident speaking French in real-life situations.

My lessons are designed for adults who want to learn French in a practical, relaxed and structured way, whether your goal is travel, conversation, work, moving to France, reconnecting with the language, or simply learning for pleasure.
I adapt each lesson to your level, pace and objectives. Depending on what you need, we can focus on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening comprehension, reading, writing, or real-life situations such as ordering at a restaurant, traveling, introducing yourself, making small talk, or handling everyday conversations in French.
My approach is friendly, clear and practical. I like to create lessons where you feel comfortable speaking from the first session, even if you are a complete beginner. We will build your confidence step by step, with a mix of conversation practice, simple explanations, useful exercises and personalized guidance.
Because I am bilingual, I can explain French clearly in English when needed, which is especially helpful for beginners. My goal is not only to help you learn French, but to help you actually use it with confidence in real-life situations.
