About Olivia
I am currently in my gap year before going to Bristol University. My mother is Spanish and we speak only Spanish at home. I lived in Spain for a few years when I was about nine, but other than that have been based in the UK.

My lessons will be very dependent on your level and goals. If you are aiming towards obtaining a qualification such as GCSE, we can cater towards the curriculum. If you are more interested in enhancing your conversational Spanish, as to interact with native speakers, then we can put our focus there instead. I took Spanish GCSE (grade 9) and A-Level (grade A in year 11), and therefore underwent the exam system and am effective at focusing on exam technique. I would be excited to have the lessons lead in the direction that works for you, while also creating concrete goals that we can set out together. I au-paired for a family for six months, during this time I supported and expanded their children's Spanish from school. As well as this, I have tutored a couple of friends; supporting one with their A-level Spanish, and the other tutoring them from a complete beginner level, both gaining me teaching experience. After these experiences, I realised I was both effective and enjoyed teaching Spanish and sharing my culture!
