About Abbie
My name is Biyun ( you can call me Abbie), graduated with a Merit MEng Chemical Engineering from University of Strathclyde in 2021. My full time job is a project manager from Monday to Friday. I am motivated in the teaching and promoting my native language to the interested learners using the evening and weekend times.
I had rich two - year mandarin teaching experiences between 2017 - 2019, every Saturday morning with a group of 20 pupils aged around 10 to 12 years old at Glasgow Chinese School, walking through prepared PowerPoint slides / textbook, watching short Chinese animation, playing the quiz and scenario simulation dialogue practice etc. to enhance pupils’ speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Depending on your language level and the qualification you want to achieve, I would / could deliver the teaching classes by a variety of approaches including walking through the textbook, watching short Chinese animation, playing the quiz and scenario simulation dialogue practice etc. to enhance pupils’ speaking, listening, reading and writing.
My classes are ideally open the beginner and intermediate learners (welcome both children and adults).
