As a tutor, I am structured, hardworking and patient. I hope to inspire in students the same passion I have for learning by presenting material in an accessible and engaging manner. My goal is not simply to help students academically but to improve critical thinking and foster lifelong learning in the process.

Availability: - Mon-Fri 7:30pm BST onwards. - Weekends 9:30am-6pm BST. - Lessons may range from 1-3hrs. What you will get: - First lesson free (discussion on targets, exam boards, trial lesson etc.). - Tailored teaching: A typical lesson involves focusing on the student's weak topics (discussed before a lesson takes place or from prior lesson) by first giving an easy-to-understand lecture on the topics thereof, then worked-through examples of exam questions, before the student does questions independently to build confidence. Short reviews of prior topics will be given at the start of a student's next lesson to consolidate knowledge. Throughout sessions I will also employ questioning to promote critical thinking. - Out-of-lesson work may be given (short questionnaires or tasks) if requested/preferred. - Questions students may have between sessions can be messaged to me throughout the week, will aim to respond within the following day (depending on quantity). Relevant experience: - University of Cambridge Masters student, Imperial College London BSc Biochemistry graduate (First Class Honours), over 2 years research experience at University College London at the Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology department, achieved A*s in Biology and Chemistry A-level. - Former GCSE Chemistry tutor at the CoachBright London branch. - Happy to also have career-related discussions given my lived experience as a university applicant.
