About Sam
I remember what being a student was like. Sometimes teaching would click and I would remember it. Other times there would be a missing piece that didn't make sense, but the lesson would have moved on or the teacher could not provide a satisfactory explanation.
I want to make sure everything clicks. With tutoring in 1-2-1 scenarios we can try different ways of explaining and teaching until the missing links are found.

I prefer to work 1-2-1 with a student as I believe this promotes better engagement and identifies areas to work on.
My lessons are 1 hour long. If the student has a particular area they would like to study we will work on this. Initially using the text books to discuss the area until I am confident the student understands fully. To conclude the lesson we will test the knowledge with past coursework or examination questions.
I work with GCSE and A level students.
I have 2 degrees in Biochemistry and Dietetics. I have excellent knowledge around Biology, the human body and chemistry.
