About Sloane
I am a biochemistry student at Skidmore College who also works in a structural biochemistry research lab. I have experience teaching college-aged lab students as well as tutoring chemistry and biology to middle school students.
I am dedicated to increasing your knowledge and excitement of science and I would love to work with you as we go deeper into fascinating concepts in biology and chemistry!

I tailor lessons to individual students' needs and their class syllabi. By reviewing their questions from recent classes, providing assisted practice in areas of difficulty, and preparation for upcoming exams, we work together to build mastery in chemistry, biochemistry, and/or SAT prep. My approach uses personal connection and positive reinforcement in conjunction with knowledge so students feel comfortable asking questions and getting answers wrong as they gain a stronger handle on the subject.
