About Upkaar
I attended a deprived state school with little opportunity made available to me. However, I persevered and left with the grades to complete a Master's in Biochemistry from a Russel Group university. I am now training to be a fully qualified teacher at another Russel Group university and have accumulated about 5 years of teaching experience.
Teachers hold the power to make a meaningful impact on students' lives, instilling not only academic skills but also essential values, critical thinking, and social development.
I had many inspiring teachers growing up, and I would like to educate and guide students towards a better future in a similar way.

I firmly believe that every student is capable of achieving, both academically and in the workplace. I strive to deliver lessons that not only prepare students for their upcoming exams but also provide them with a better understanding of the world around them.
My Master's degree in Biochemistry has equipped me with expert scientific knowledge and skills to share with others, as well as a good understanding of scientific research and jobs in STEM as a whole.
I offer tutoring of all science disciplines for students aged 11-16 (GCSE). I also offer A-level biology and chemistry tutoring for all English exam boards. I offer 1-hour lessons remotely and will happily set and mark homework if that is requested.
